MIZAR LED luminaire was chosen to the selection of 120 of the finest Polish design projects since 2000. The photograph of the luminaire with a brief description is presented in the prestigious album “Polish Desing: Uncut” published by Adam Mickiewicz Institute. The publication is one of the pillars of polish design worldwide popularization programme.
The luminaire designed by PaweÅ‚ Balcerzak and his team was appreciated for the modern form corresponding to the modern LED technology as well as the allusion to the old gas street lamps. MIZAR LED is a brilliant example of tradition and modernity fusion. The luminaires’ simplicity of construction facilitates cleaning and repair. Anodized aluminium used to build the luminaire guarantees reliability for a long time and ecological LED lighting source reduces energy consumption.
“Polish Design: Uncut” edited by CzesÅ‚awa Frejlich and Dominik Lisik is a kind of summary of the past decade of Polish design. The album was published only in English by Adam Mickiewicz Institude. The publication that gathered 90 designers and 120 the most interesting projects since 2000 is an attempt to show the outstanding projects successfully combining traditional craft with advanced technologies and local influences with modern aesthetics. The book shows that Polish designers returned permanently to the world class forefront.
