At the end of January 2025 we visited ROSA in Poland, our supplier of high-quality design lighting and aluminum poles for public spaces. For more than 10 years we have had a very pleasant cooperation with ROSA. We as Vocare team find it important to get to know our partners personally and regularly video calls take place, we meet during trade fairs or like now, we visit the factory.  ROSA is a family business, founded in 1992 with 4 employees and now grown to about 350 employees and 4 branches. Specializing in complete sets of LED street lighting fixtures and light poles. All made of high quality anodized aluminum and produced with an eye for sustainability and circularity.

Tennis club ATC Wijhe has good visibility again ATC Wijhe's tennis courts have recently been illuminated with LED lights. “The lamps fit well into our sustainability goal” said Jetze de Witte, chairman of the association. “Not only do they consume less than half the power compared to the old conventional lamps, but they also last longer and do not contain hazardous substances such as mercury. In mid-2024, our new website went online. After 5 years, it was high time for renewal. Thanks to CCV Shop, the website got a beautiful makeover. A fresh and professional look, new functionalities and we show better who we are and what we do 💡. We are very proud of the end result that we all worked very hard on. On May 7, 2022, the monument was unveiled to commemorate the explosion of the former floor tarpaulin factory on May 7, 1945. When it is dark, the monument is less visible. After consultation with the municipality of Olst-Wijhe, permission was given to light the monument by means of a lamp that works on solar energy. Contact was made with Ton Reinders of the company Vocare Ledlight LED lighting who selflessly provided the lighting. The monument is now beautifully and attractively lit during darkness. Our thanks go to the company Vocare Ledlight LED lighting from Wijhe, the municipality Olst-Wijhe, Harry Middelkamp and Rein Schoenaker for making this lighting possible. “ Recently, we have made a sustainability move in terms of street lighting,” the municipality of Olst-Wijhe announces. Almost all lampposts in the municipality now use energy-efficient LED lighting. Experiments are also being conducted in other ways to make them even more sustainable . Currently, some 3,300 of the 3,550 lampposts are using energy-efficient LED lighting. “Plus, we are experimenting with 55 hybrid lampposts that store solar energy during the day to use at night,” the municipality explained. Vocare Ledlight is a member of the "Ondernemerskring Olst-Wijhe", a business association for entrepreneurs in the municipality of Olst-Wijhe founded in February 2023. The now more than 100 members come from different industries and are located within the municipal boundaries of Olst-Wijhe. The Entrepreneurs Circle is administrative and official (discussion) partner of the municipality and regularly organizes member meetings and activities where entrepreneurs are informed about, for example, future plans of the municipality regarding the layout of the business parks. In addition, entrepreneurs in the municipality get to know each other better in an informal way during the annual summer barbecue. Sparring and networking with each other strengthens the mutual bond. Light + Building 2024, of course we visited this light fair in Frankfurt at the beginning of March. At the fair we meet our suppliers and find everything about the latest trends, developments and innovations in lighting. A fantastic happening!

At the end of October 2023, the Lighting Fair Autumn Edition took place in HongKong. Jop and Bram visited this largest lighting fair in the world to see the latest news in LED lighting and of course to talk to our partners.  After the fair they spent another week in Shenzhen to visit our regular suppliers and catch up with them about current and new developments in the market. A very exciting, educational and special experience!

A trial of hybrid solar collectors on eight light fixtures at Hubo hardware store on the Handelsweg in Wijhe has been very pleasing to the municipality. The new and innovative Windstreek house for broilers in Raalte was furnished with Vocare 120 Watt LED adjustable fixtures in the year 2015. This LED lighting made of stainless steel has been developed by Vocare Ledlight. Because of the adjustable elements on the outside, lighting can be provided over a large width. The Windstreek barn is a national example project and was developed by poultry farmer Nijkamp in cooperation with Wageningen UR Livestock and Research, among others.
