Vocare Ledlight is a member of the "Ondernemerskring Olst-Wijhe", a business association for entrepreneurs in the municipality of Olst-Wijhe founded in February 2023. The now more than 100 members come from different industries and are located within the municipal boundaries of Olst-Wijhe.
The Entrepreneurs Circle is administrative and official (discussion) partner of the municipality and regularly organizes member meetings and activities where entrepreneurs are informed about, for example, future plans of the municipality regarding the layout of the business parks.
In addition, entrepreneurs in the municipality get to know each other better in an informal way during the annual summer barbecue. Sparring and networking with each other strengthens the mutual bond.
Companies in the municipality of Olst-Wijhe can register with the online business register of the municipality of Olst-Wijhe. The register is consulted by officials of the municipality of Olst-Wijhe when purchasing and tendering. Vocare Ledlight is also registered in the register of companies.
Successful pilot with Solar hybrid lighting in municipality Olst-Wijhe
On behalf of the municipality of Olst-Wijhe, Vocare-Ledlight has conducted a pilot with Solar hybrid lighting in 2023. The purpose of this pilot was to find out how much the municipality could save with this compared to standard LED lighting. For this pilot, our 3-cell hybrid fixtures were placed on the Handelsweg in Wijhe, a busy street with stores and parking lots. The Solar hybrid lights replaced the Philips LED fixtures. The results of the pilot project were very positive: in terms of energy consumption, the hybrid lamps save the municipality of Olst-Wijhe an average of 75%. Shoppers and passers-by were also very satisfied. As a result, the municipality of Olst-Wijhe decided to maintain the Vocare Solar hybrid fixtures on Handelsweg and to also equip a large parking lot near the daycare center and high school with these lights.
