What are LED high bays
As the name of the fixture suggests, highbay fixtures are suitable for spaces with high ceilings. Think of spaces such as manufacturing facilities, gymnasiums, warehouses, large department stores, factories and more. These facilities tend to be large and occupy a lot of vertical and horizontal space. This requires powerful lighting to achieve nice evenness and the right lux values. High bay lighting fixtures usually hang from the ceiling via hooks, chains, or pendants, or they can be attached directly to the ceiling (similar to fluorescent lights).
Why are LED high bays extremely suitable for hallway lighting?
LED high bay fixtures are very effective for hallway lighting. They provide bright, even lighting that improves employee productivity while also ensuring a neat and clean appearance of the hall. In addition, Vocare-Ledlight's clock fixtures have a tremendously high light output resulting in considerable energy savings. The fixtures are maintenance free due to the NANO coating with a dust and water repellent effect and the incredibly long lifespan.
Are the highbay fixtures also suitable for damp halls?
All luminaires of Vocare-Ledlight have a minimum protection class of IP65 and a maximum protection class of IP69. This means that the luminaires are resistant to high-pressure water jets and are suitable for areas with a humid climate. The fixtures are therefore also suitable for barn lighting and freezer houses.
What conventional lighting are these fixtures a replacement for?
LED high bays are a perfect replacement for conventional gas discharge lamps, such as HID, HPI and HQL lamps. The advantage of LED highbay fixtures is that they are much more energy efficient than the conventional variant. You save an average of 70%. In addition, LED high bay lighting has a much longer lifespan, which significantly reduces maintenance and replacement costs.
